Borrowdale Club Campsite

A 59-pitch all-hardstanding site at Manesty in National Trust woodland, about five miles from Keswick. Derwentwater and the surrounding fells are directly accessible on foot. A bus service links the site to Keswick, Buttermere and Crummock Water.

Bowness on Windermere Camping and Caravanning Club Site

An all-year site on Glebe Road on the shore of Lake Windermere at Bowness. The site was refurbished in 2022 and includes a dog wash. Bowness town centre and the lake steamers are within walking distance.

Braithwaite Village Camping and Caravanning Club Site

An all-year site at Braithwaite village, between Derwentwater and Bassenthwaite Lake in the northern Lake District. Glamping pods and self-catering lodges are available alongside touring pitches. Whinlatter Pass and Keswick are both close by.

Coniston Park Coppice Club Campsite

A site set in 63 acres of National Trust woodland near Torver, about a mile from Coniston village. Pitches are grouped in open glades among the trees. Coniston Water is close by, and the site is used as a base for walking and watersports in the southern Lake District.

An all-year site on Crow Park Road at Keswick, between Derwentwater and the northern fells. Keswick town centre is a short walk away. Catbells and Skiddaw are among the fell walks accessible from the site.

A 138-pitch all-hardstanding site at Sedgwick, on the site of a 19th-century gunpowder mill within National Trust woodland beside the River Kent. Windermere is around 13 miles away. The site has a family washroom and a dog walk.

A site on Crow Park Road on the shore of Derwentwater in the northern Lake District, within walking distance of Keswick town centre. Skiddaw and the northern fells rise directly behind the town. The site is open all year.

A site on Ashes Lane at Staveley, between Bowness-on-Windermere and Kendal in the Lake District National Park. The grounds are wooded and set back from the main roads. Lake Windermere is a short drive away.
