Founded in 1907 and based in East Grinstead, the club operates around 200 of its own campsites in the UK plus more than 2,200 small five-van Certificated Locations open only to members. It sells caravan, motorhome and travel insurance, MAYDAY breakdown cover and Red Pennant overseas travel cover. The club also books European ferries and pitches and runs manoeuvring and motorhome driving courses. It was known as The Caravan Club until February 2017.

A 107-pitch site on Canterbury Road at Densole in the Kent Downs, with 99 hardstanding pitches. It is commonly used as a stopover for the Channel Tunnel and the Dover ferry ports. Canterbury and the Kent Downs walking routes are within driving distance.

A 55-pitch all-hardstanding site in an open glade surrounded by woodland on the Bolton Abbey estate in Wharfedale. The estate has around 75 miles of footpaths through moorland and woodland. Skipton, with its medieval castle, is about nine miles away.

A site set in 63 acres of National Trust woodland near Torver, about a mile from Coniston village. Pitches are grouped in open glades among the trees. Coniston Water is close by, and the site is used as a base for walking and watersports in the southern Lake District.
