Founded in 1907 and based in East Grinstead, the club operates around 200 of its own campsites in the UK plus more than 2,200 small five-van Certificated Locations open only to members. It sells caravan, motorhome and travel insurance, MAYDAY breakdown cover and Red Pennant overseas travel cover. The club also books European ferries and pitches and runs manoeuvring and motorhome driving courses. It was known as The Caravan Club until February 2017.
