About
How this directory works
We catalogue the clubs and club-run campsites that European caravanners actually use, and we say plainly where every fact came from.
What we cover
110 club-run campsites in the UK, 67 club organisations across 32 countries, and 24 camping cards and discount schemes. The UK came first because that is where the club-site model is most developed. Continental coverage grows month by month.
Where the data comes from
Every entry traces back to a source we can point at, usually the club's own published listing. Each site and club page records those sources. Where a club does not publish a figure — a member count, a founding year, a pitch total — we leave the field blank rather than estimate it.
Coordinates marked approximate are derived from a postcode or a town centre. Use them to orient yourself, then follow the club's own directions for the final approach.
Corrections
Campsites close, seasons shift and clubs merge. If something here is wrong, tell us and we will fix it. Clubs that want their entry updated or expanded can ask; we do not charge for accuracy.
How the site pays for itself
Some outbound links to camping cards and insurance providers earn us a commission. That never decides who appears here or where they sit in a list. Anything commercial is marked on the page it appears on.
We are independent of every club listed and we do not take bookings or payments for pitches.
A note on advice
Insurance pages here are directory listings. We are not authorised to give financial advice, so treat them as a starting point for your own comparison rather than a recommendation.
