ACSI Club ID
ACSI Publishing BV (Netherlands)
ACSI Club ID is an annual subscription card accepted as a replacement ID at close to 8,000 European campsites, around 90 percent of ACSI-affiliated sites. It includes third-party liability insurance covering the cardholder and up to 10 travel companions during a campsite stay. ACSI notes that sites in Italy, Portugal, Croatia and Spain may still request an official national ID or passport, and eligibility is limited to residents of specified European countries.
Camping Card International (CCI)
Issued by national camping and motoring clubs under FICC/AIT/FIA; central platform run by Camping Card International
Camping Card International is an international camper identity and discount card recognised at 3,123 campsites across 40 countries according to the operator's own figures. It is not sold centrally to consumers: national clubs such as ACL Luxembourg, TCS, ADAC and others issue it to their members, so the annual price differs by issuing organisation and was not confirmed for this record. Alongside campsite discounts it functions as an ID substitute and typically carries third-party liability cover.

Common questions
Which camping card saves the most?+
For low-season touring in western Europe, a fixed-rate card such as CampingCard ACSI usually returns its cost within three or four nights. For free overnight stops at farms and vineyards, France Passion and its equivalents cost less and save more, though facilities are minimal.
Do I still need a Camping Card International?+
A CCI or ACSI Club ID is mainly an identity document that lets you keep your passport rather than leaving it at reception, and it carries third-party liability cover. Some sites also give a small discount. It costs little enough that most European tourers carry one.
Can I use more than one card on the same trip?+
Yes. The cards cover different site networks and different seasons, so many tourers hold a fixed-rate card for low season and a free-overnight scheme for stopovers between destinations.
