Founded in 1907 and based in East Grinstead, the club operates around 200 of its own campsites in the UK plus more than 2,200 small five-van Certificated Locations open only to members. It sells caravan, motorhome and travel insurance, MAYDAY breakdown cover and Red Pennant overseas travel cover. The club also books European ferries and pitches and runs manoeuvring and motorhome driving courses. It was known as The Caravan Club until February 2017.

A 90-pitch all-hardstanding site in the grounds of the Craigie Estate on Craigie Road, within walking distance of Ayr town centre and its beach. The Robert Burns Birthplace Museum and Culzean Castle are both a short drive away. The Ayrshire coast has a concentration of championship golf courses.

Balbirnie Park Club Campsite

An 81-pitch site within the 400-acre Balbirnie Park at Glenrothes in Fife, with 60 hardstanding pitches. Park paths include routes suitable for cycling and mobility scooters. Markinch station provides rail links to Edinburgh over the Forth Bridge.

Baltic Wharf Club Campsite

A 56-pitch site on Cumberland Road directly on Bristol's Floating Harbour, within walking distance of the SS Great Britain and the city centre. The Club announced that the site closed permanently on 11 August 2025 after its lease was not renewed. It is listed here for reference only.
