ÖAMTC Schutzbrief
The ÖAMTC Schutzbrief is an add-on to an Austrian ÖAMTC auto or motorcycle membership costing EUR 63.90 for 2026. It provides assistance and cost reimbursement in Austria, all European countries, the Mediterranean region and selected islands, covering the member, a household partner and children up to 19. Benefits include mountain and helicopter rescue up to EUR 10,000 and towing up to EUR 330 domestically, plus hospital cover to EUR 75,000, medical repatriation, vehicle recovery and replacement transport abroad. Vehicle eligibility limits for large motorhomes were not stated on the page checked.
