Towing note · The A30 is dual carriageway to Camborne and is the only sensible route west. Keep off the B3306 between St Ives and Land's End and the lanes into Port Isaac, Boscastle and Polperro, which are single track between stone hedges with no turning room.

Looe Club Campsite

A 223-pitch site at St Martin near Looe, split into two pitching areas divided by conifers and flowering cherries, with distant views of Looe Bay. Ninety-nine pitches are hardstanding and the site has a swimming pool and tennis court. Looe harbour and the Cornwall Coast Path are close by.

Penzance · Cornwall

Sennen Cove Camping and Caravanning Club Site

A site at Higher Tregiffian Farm, St Buryan, near Land's End at the western tip of Cornwall, with sea views over the Atlantic. The ground is largely flat and there is a children's play area and playing field. The South West Coast Path is directly accessible and Penzance is about eight miles away.

Tregurrian Camping and Caravanning Club Site

A 90-pitch site at Tregurrian on the north Cornwall coast, close to Watergate Bay and about five miles from Newquay. The site has a wetsuit shower for surfers. Fistral Beach, Newquay Zoo and Padstow are within driving distance.

A 146-pitch clifftop site at Trethevy near Tintagel, overlooking Bossiney Cove on the north Cornish coast. Sixty-nine pitches are hardstanding. The South West Coast Path runs alongside the site towards Tintagel and Boscastle.

Veryan Camping and Caravanning Club Site

A secluded site at Tretheake, Veryan, on the Roseland Peninsula in south Cornwall, about 12 miles from Truro. Many pitches are framed by trees with views over rolling countryside. Roseland beaches and the South West Coast Path are nearby.
