Parque de Campismo de Mondim de Basto lies at Lugar de Montao on the right bank of the river Cabril, in the mountains of Vila Real district. The federation lists pitches for tents, caravans and motorhomes and access to a river beach. The area is used for walking, climbing, canyoning and coarse fishing. The 2025 federation tariff sheet sets the lowest adult rate at 3.50 euros per night in the 'zona verde' band, with 20 per cent off between 1 October and 31 May.
